Obama to campaign in Eau Claire on Sunday

By Associated Press   August 21, 2008 - 12:29 p.m.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Sen. Barack Obama will campaign in Wisconsin for the first time in two months this weekend.

His campaign says the Illinois senator will stop in the western city of Eau Claire on Sunday. The event is part of a tour of battleground states leading up to next week’s Democratic National Convention.

The campaign did not offer details about the location or time of the event. It says Obama is expected to talk about how he will offer relief to struggling middle-class families.

The stop will be Obama’s second in Wisconsin for the general election. His last stop was in Kaukauna in June.

Obama started the campaign with a healthy lead over Republican Sen. John McCain in Wisconsin, but the race seems to be tightening.

The more you talk the more obvious it becomes that you don't have any idea what America is all about. You are one of those typical liberals that think we should model this country with the eurotrash ideas, get a grip. The economy goes up and down, always has, always will. Show me a point in time where it has always gone up and never down, no matter what party was in office. Blew that theory of yours out of the water didn't I? As for tax breaks for business, it is business that provides jobs, show me where a poor person has ever provided jobs to the working class. It's obvious that business is not one of your strong suits either. Increase taxes on business and they will pass it along to the consumer,as well as lay off workers because they will scale back production. Increased taxes on corporations has never worked, but democrats don't care about that,it sounds good in an election cycle. How does that bode well for an ailing economy? You ask whybesad if it's time for his klan meeting. Maybe you should ask robert byrd (democrat) about klan meetings. I'm fairly sure he attended a few.

Oh, and one other thing whybesad. You might want to do some reading about what psychologists say about men who feel the need to type in capital letters.

Whatdidyousay....More verbiage from a member of the party that did its best to destroy our economy and international respect during the past eight years. And yet they keep flapping their jaws...oblivious to what is going on around them. Johnny McHomeowner has no chance in an America that is fed up with watching the Rebooblicans destroy the middle class through huge tax breaks for large corporations.
And as for you, whybesad, I knew you couldn't get through an entire entry without a racist reference. Isn't it time for your Klan meeting?

HE 'WORKED' AS A CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVIST IN CHICAGO.
HE HAS NEVER HELD A PRODUCTIVE JOB OR RECEIVED A PAY CHECK
THAT WAS NOT GOVERNMENT-FUNDED AND/OR TAXPAYER SUPPORTED.
THE PRESIDENCY IS NOT A CIVIL RIGHTS POSITION, NOR IS IT SUBJECT TO AFFIRMATIVE ACTION SET ASIDES; ON-THE-JOB TRAINING WON'T CUT IT.
HE ENTERED POLITICS AT THE STATE LEVEL AND THEN THE
NATIONAL LEVEL WHERE HE HAS MINIMAL EXPERIENCE (143 days in the senate).
HE IS PROUD OF HIS 'AFRICAN HERITAGE' (A FATHER WHO GOT A WHITE GIRL PREGNANT AND DESERTED HER).

NVgrf:
If anyone is blubbering it is you. Leftwing nut jobs don't have a clue. When they don't win an election, it's because the vote was rigged. Your party needs to stop running inexperienced socialist loving liberals, then it might stand a chance. All McCain said when the question about ownership of homes was asked, was that he would have someone from his staff get with them to get a correct answer. Some of the homes were bought by the estate. I doubt that McCain sits around and wonders how much he owns with a presidential race going on. He is probably more focused on what needs to be done to win an election against the media crowned "messiah". If he had answered 8 and it was 7 or 9, then he would have been labeled a liar by the left, that is how whacked out the left is. Where exactly in the constitution is it stated there is a limit to the number of houses you can own? No where! Yet, because he is productive enough in life to do well it is somehow "evil" to own more than what the leftwing socialists think is acceptable. A perfect example of their class warfare agenda. They "need" to take away from the "rich" and give to the "poor". What form of government does that remind us of? Oh, that's right, communism. Give me a break. At least he didn't have a convicted felon help him buy any of his properties. Obimbo should be way ahead in the polls by now with all the money he has spent and all the help he has received from the media and nut jobs in "follywood", but he doesn't. He can't even get his lead out of the margine of error. Come november, the democrats will be using their crying towels again. Hopefully, all the liberals that said they were going to move out of the country if Bush won, will actually follow through with it this time. NObama in 08!

Love those who justify McCain's cheating as "a long time ago" but point out things about Obama from the dark ages that they see as still relevant. I've got to give the conservative righties one thing...they are going down kicking and screaming. New times are coming my right wing friends. Why don't you make it easier on yourselves and just slide out of the way.

I wonder if John Edwards is in the running for V.P with Obama? He likes to cheat on his wife that has cancer and has a love child with the mistress.

What John McCain did to his first wife is despicable, as he has admitted. It was also a long time ago, not that the severity of what he did has lessened but he has not repeated that behavior. We all live and learn do we not? Who among us has no such dirty deed hanging in a closet somewhere?
Yet that leftist double standard raises itself up again in all its self-righteous glory. No such complaints were heard 4 years ago when a democrat who had dumped his first wife was running against an incumbent with no such skeleton in his closet. And of course, John Edwards’s peccadillo can also be overlooked as well. His nearly instant rehabilitation is underway and his political career will no doubt be revived without one complaint of his moral turpitude from those who find his positions so appealing.

I love how the one-sided (liberal) media has pretty much brainwashed the country on Obama. I'm not saying McCain is the most wonderful there is, but really....I have learned about more of Obama's connections from his past that are quite scary. And do we really want someone to head our country when they haven't even headed any committee as a senator? Seriously, there is info out there about him that obviously is not widely publicized about Obama...but the media makes a big stink about how many houses McCain owns? Who cares. Obama is an elitist snob himself...my sister did well for herself with all her education, makes very good money, works long hours....but apparently isn't qualified as someone who "works" in the working class according to Obama.

'In fact, if there happen to be any single rich 35-year-old women with a net worth of $25-$38 million looking for a husband, I'd not only not count their houses, I'd even consider running for City Council if they want to marry a politician.'

What if you were married to a woman who was badly injured in a car accident? Would you cheat on her with a hot young rich woman like McCain did?

George Obama (Barack's half brother in Kenya) doesn't want any money from Barack he wants to earn it himself and is very proud of Barack.

Well, I guess after that tirade Obama and company have leveled over McCain's houses, he must have scratched John Kerry's name off his V.P. list since Kerry couldn't remember how many SUVs he owned.
What do you know, John McCain and John Kerry do have something in common after all. Gotta love how those lefties so easily embrace a double standard.
I wonder why no one asks Obama how an altruistic "neighborhood organizer" and Public Servant manages to make $4 million a year and lives in a mansion. How can such a man chide his opponent for his “disconnect” with the hardships of the middle class while being so well insulated from those hardships himself?

McCain married big money. He probably didn't add up the house in Vale, the house in the Bahamas, the estate in New York, etc., that his wife already owned.
.
Anyone else hear about how Obama is ignoring his brother, George Hussein Onyango Obama, in Kenya? I caught part of the story on an AM talk radio station Thursday evening. Seems like Mr. I-know-how-many-houses-I-own-Obama is letting his half-brother get by on $1/month.

.
For all his faults, I think John and Cindy McCain's bringing an ill infant from an orphanage in Bangladesh back to the U.S. for emergency medical care and later adopting her, speaks more toward's McCain's character than the fact that he doesn't have an accurate house count.
.
In fact, if there happen to be any single rich 35-year-old women with a net worth of $25-$38 million looking for a husband, I'd not only not count their houses, I'd even consider running for City Council if they want to marry a politician.

The fact that McCain doesn't even know how many houses he owns should help. And he calls Obama an elitist!
