They didn't pay any of their taxes. Wisconsin quarterlies, income, sales tax, fica, un-employment, ANYTHING. Most of the postings here are very true. I had friends who worked there and racing to the bank to cash their checks became a sport. There were many weeks some of them had 3 or 4 checks they couldn't cash. Ask the guy who got taken away by the police because Steve wasn't sending in his child support witholdings that were coming out of his check every week. He says he is suprised that they did this! What I am suprised about is that he isn't rotting in jail already for the stunts he pulled with his employees 401k money.

My nephew was 15 when he was working for these people. He is a responsible and dependable kid and they took advantage of him by paying him with checks that continuously bounced (I'm talking checks for under $50)and promises of making them good if he would continue doing his job. My brother-in-law finally stepped in and said my nephew was done.

Too many personal feelings? That is what a blog was created for.....the personal feelings are not rumors - they are a reality. Schulers may be good and nice people but the fact remains that when you work for someone and are dedicated you should be able to cash your paycheck on payday not 3 weeks later....the workers have bills to pay.

i agree i love their stuff! just think it was poor management on steve's part. my last comment was removed but it was the TRUTH i wish they would not have done that!!!just ask any employee about the payroll checks and the health insurance, and child support payment oh i almost forgot 401k...... nice job....i want to know about my order!!!!

If they made it easy to "get out" how many businesses would pay their taxes on time?

It is easy to get behind. For every dollar you are delinquent, they tack on a 25% penalty, and then add on 18% interest, which is compounding. So, let's say a business was delinquent on sales tax at $1,000. That $1,000 has now turned into $1,250 plus interest....over a year that $1,000 has turned into $1,450 or more. It's sad, but once it happens it is nearly impossible for a business to dig themselves out.
