Jarrett motion hearing postponed
JANESVILLE--A motion for a change of venue for Kenneth D. Jarrett, the Janesville man accused of robbing a teenaged Janesville couple Sept. 28 and raping the girl, has been postponed.
Jarrett has requested a different attorney, defense attorney Cynthia Stoppel said in court Wednesday morning.
Judge James Daley set Jarrett’s next court appearance appearance for 1 p.m. , Tuesday, May 27, so the new attorney could review the request for a change of venue.
Jarret, 20, no fixed address, is charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault and two counts of armed robbery.
He remains in custody at the Rock County Jail on a $150,000 cash bond.

I guess we get the "where's the photo" complaints every time we get a news blog post, even if there is a photo in the full news story a couple of hours later. As I've said before, it might help if the Gazette clearly labeled these and indicated that a full story will appear.

I agree. Its hard enough to have a traumatic experience like this happen. They deserve their right to privacy.

My thoughts exactly. i am glad that Daley is the judge on this case because he actually sticks to his guns.
