can't you get some sort of parasitic worm by "playing" in this nasty water? Hook worms, maybe. Or at least come out smelling like the sewer? uck.

come on people that just nasty think of all the stuff in that water that grose. and i have been down on main street and i have seen people putting there little kids hands and letting them play in the water on the road later on when your kid sick not write to the paper about how the water was bad and that your kid got sick it you own fault then told people to stay out of the water that it not good for you to be in it and nobody wants to listen so whatever happen happen but we shouldnt have to list to it later on when people are getting sick from playing in the water.

It looks so inviting, but the most I've let touch it is the bottom of my soles and my bike tires!
