In this January 1990 photo, workers install a new sign showing production and corporate group changes at the Janesville GM plant. Formerly a part of GM’s Buick-Oldsmobile-Cadillac Group, the plant became part of the Truck & Bus Group. The plant switched from production of Chevrolet Cavalier cars to Suburbans, Blazers and Jimmy trucks.
