Conditions weren't much better on Tuesday, with winds that had only slightly died down, more clouds, cooler temperatures, and rain in the afternoon. Weather made little difference, however, for shots in the rough like Brooke Ferrell's on the second hole.

Maddie McCue of Milton struggled on the 14th hole on Tuesday, but she wasn't alone. Almost all of the Milton golfers and their partnered schools hit their balls either short of the Par 3 green or off left or right. With trees creating a wind break near the tee, most golfers misjudged their club choices on the hole.
