The halted construction project for the new Metropolitan Baptist Church stands behind fences in Largo, Md. on Friday, Feb. 20, 2009. The project, begun in 2006, was the congregation's dream complex _ a $30 million campus with a 3,000-seat church, an education center and an 1,100-car parking lot.
