On Delavan-Darien School District conducting survey: They still are not understanding. It is not about if people can or can not afford the tax increase, it is about if they believe in the district and how they are able to manage the money. The fact that they “lost” $500,000 over the last two years may not help gain support from voters.

—Thomas Kavanaugh

On 20 local churches helping to put on this year’s Freedom Fest: This is an awesome event and really shows the great sense of community here in Janesville! Thank you to all the volunteers and churches that participated!

—Matt Brown

On Time Out Pub & Eatery to close in downtown Janesville: Hope they find a new location. It’s a shame if they just throw in the towel when the downtown is looking up.
