For the record, I like Oprah. She's done a lot of good in her lifetime. She's business savvy, she's amassed a fortune, she's media savvy. she's got plenty of name recognition, she's a celebrity. She's all that Trump claims to be and more. She has never claimed to be a "stable genius," but she's got "real good words" at her disposal.

All this being said, I think this country has sunk to a new low when we look to a celebrity to lead the country. Just look at the state we are in now. I know I'll get harassed by his supporters, but globally speaking, he is NOT making America great again. He is making America small in the eyes of the world.

The world leaders roll their eyes and shake their heads when they think the camera is not on them. His childlike tweets and playground name calling are pathetic and embarrassing. Furthermore, it's easy to see that China and Russia, among others, have quickly learned how to placate him with congeniality and flattery. He perceives friendliness as respect!

I think we need to understand that for as much as we like "Washington outsiders," it just won't work. If we want a woman president, maybe Elizabeth Warren would be a good choice. If we want an African American woman, how about Kamala Harris? There are real choices out there without having to tap "Hollywood." Please, let's keep it real. We cannot afford any more "reality show politics."
