Sharon Stevens, 70, passed away Tuesday December 19, 2017 at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, WI, surrounded by her loving family. Sharon was born June 21, 1947 in Winona, MN, the daughter of Arthur and Florence (Braatz) Dionysius. The family moved to the Beloit area around 1953. Sharon worked at Geri’s Hamburgers in Beloit and Janesville for many years, Owen Vending and also did home CNA health care for the many elderly in need. Sharon enjoyed going to Bingo, especially with her mother, and playing slots at the casinos. Also babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sharon leaves many cherished and loving memories for her husband, Raymond; daughters, Lisa (Wes) Blue of Clinton, WI, Tracey Weil of South Beloit; sons, Shane (Traci) Stevens of Le Center MN, Chad (Lee Anne) Stevens of Orfordville, WI; grandchildren: Nichole (Jake) Thill, Amy (Eric) Jacobs, Brianna (Brandon) Loveridge, Amber (Dan Keller), Brendon, Bailey, Jayden, Teagan, Carter, Hunter, Ryan, Megan, Shawn and Gavin; great-grandchildren: Logan, Gracie, Travis, Gage, Wyatt, Kasen, Emma and Cayden. She is further survived by brothers: Gerald (Beatrice), John (Joetta) and David (Marcia) Dionysius; sisters: Kay (Wayne) Braaten, Bonnie (KS) Smith and Brenda (Rick) Northrup; many nieces, nephews and cousins; in addition to special friends Dee Hahn and Kenneth Hansen. Sharon was predeceased by her son Michael Olson; daughter, Rhonda Olson; her parents; brother, Gayle Dionysius; and sister, Sandra Logan. Sharon devoted her life to her family, she guided us with comfort and advice and when help was needed we never had to ask. “Love is patient, love is kind and gentle, and love never fails.” Most of all we learned from you, the joy a mother brings.” A joyous celebration of her wonderful life will be held later this summer. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements. A special thank you to Sharon’s nephew, her godson, Kevin Logan for all the support he has given the family. The family also would like to thank nurses AnnMary, Heather, Barb and Tousha for their incredible care and compassion shown for Sharon. Also Pastor Mike Ligman for his prayers, Bible scriptures and support given to the entire family.
