Details for Phyllis J. Siverly

Phyllis J. Siverly, 84, of Milton passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017, surrounded by her family, at Agrace Hospice and Palliative Care in Janesville. Phyllis was born December 5, 1933 in Milton, to the late John and Helen (Riedell) Masterson. She graduated from Milton High School with the Class of 1951. In June of 1955, Phyllis married Emmett Siverly, and together they shared 52 years, until his death in August of 1987. Phyllis worked at the Bank of Milton for over 50 years, and wore many hats during her time such as teller, bookkeeper, and loan officer. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Milton. She loved arts and crafts, gardening, going for walks, and cooking. She also had an affinity for counting. Phyllis is survived by her children: Terry Siverly of OR, Sharon Siverly of Milton, John Siverly of Milton; grandchildren: John Siverly of Milton, Jeremy and Heather Lawrence of OR; siblings, Doris Purcell of IL, Janet (Gary) Morehart of Milton; as well as many nieces; nephews; and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emmett Siverly; sister: Mary Ann Herman and a brother, Thomas Masterson. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton with Fr. Dave Timmerman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the start of the services.
