Details for Margaret Elaine Kildow

Margaret Elaine (Dorn) Kildow, age 84, passed away on February 5, 2018, at Edgerton Care Center, after a short illness. She was born in rural Edgerton on September 10, 1933, to Carl and Laura Dorn. Growing up on her parent's dairy farms in Porter Township, she attended the Eagle one-room schoolhouse, and graduated from Edgerton High School in 1951. She worked at various jobs after graduation including Parker Pen in Janesville, WI. She married Keith Kildow in 1953. After her husband finished his tour of duty as a Sea Bee in the Navy, she moved to Milton with him, where she lived the rest of her life. Margaret was employed over 20 years for Milton Ace Hardware, then retired. She also spent 18 years volunteering as a quilter with the Milton Gathering Place Quilters. She enjoyed sewing quilt tops with the ‘Quilters’, and the quilts were all donated to local organizations for those in need. She also knitted countless hats, which were donated to those who needed warm hats.

Margaret is survived by her husband; daughter, Candi Kildow of Milton; and son, Brad (Laura) Kildow of Spooner, WI; grandsons: Richard (Natasha) Kildow of Spooner, WI, Kendall (Cassie) Kildow of New Haven, IN, and Garrick (Tia Hartl) Kildow of Spooner; and three great-grandchildren: Ava and Clay Kildow of Spooner, WI and Carson Kildow of New Haven, IN. Kendall held a special place in her heart. Carson was the joy of her last few years, and she cherished her time spent with them. She is also survived by her brother, Les Dorn of Edgerton, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Delores Hinton; and grandson, Bruce Kildow.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Milton, with Pastor Steve Scott officiating. Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to time of services at the funeral home. Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 828 S.
