Details for Kenneth G Endthoff

Keneth G. Endthoff, age 85, of Beloit died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at Beloit Memorial Hospital. Ken was born Feb. 5, 1932, to the late George and Lillian (Newell) Endthoff in Beloit. He graduated from Beloit High School, class of 1950, and he pursued education at Beloit College and at UW Madison until he enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1951. Ken served his country from 1951-1955, when he was honorably discharged. Ken married Charlotte L. Fosse on Aug. 29, 1953, in Beloit. Ken worked as a draftsman for 37 years at the Beloit Corporation, retiring in 1993. He was member of the Roxbury Road Church of Christ in Janesville, the Newark Beloit 4-H Club, the Quarter Century Club at the Beloit Corp and the Beloit Masonic Temple. Ken loved deeply. He was humble and honest. He was a genuine man. He was thoughtful and gentle. Ken was a hard worker. He led by example. Ken had a memory for dates and facts like you wouldn’t believe. Ken was devoted to his family. He was also a loyal friend. He was a lover of four legged, furry creatures as well as a lover of birds. Ken was proud of living on his small farm for 50 years, which was celebrated this past May. He loved making memories. Ken is survived by wife of 64 years, Charlotte Endthoff; his son, Wayne (Sharon) Endthoff; his daughter, Diana Smith; six grandchildren: Brad (Katy) Fry, Brian (Mary) Fry, Melissa (Joshua) Mondragon, Brenda Endthoff, Mark (Emma Dehlinger) Smith, and Sara Smith; his nephew, Daniel (Lois) Taylor; and his son in law, Larry (Janet) Fry. He was preceded in death by daughter, Cheryl Fry; and his sister, Opal (Edward) Taylor. Ken’s Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at ROXBURY ROAD CHURCH OF CHRIST, 2103 Roxbury Road, Janesville, WI with Pastor Jon Grice officiating. Friends will be received on Wednesday at the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway Beloit from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again on Thursday in the CHURCH from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
