Details for Donna T. Templeton

Donna T. Templeton, age 67, of Janesville, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at her home. She was born in Mauston, WI, on September 3, 1950, the daughter of the late Wilbur G. and Ella J. (Litkea) Martin. Donna graduated from Albany High School in 1968. She later married the love of her life, Merlin R. “Butch” Templeton on November 14, 1970 at Albany United Methodist Church. Donna was member of Cargill United Methodist Church in Janesville. Over the years, Donna has worked at WPS, Norwood Mills, GMAD, and at the information booth in the Janesville Mall. Donna was proud to be a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to her family and friends. Her greatest passion and joy was to be able to spend time with her family, creating lasting memories that they will cherish forever. She enjoyed camping, cooking, rummage sales, and boating on Lake Koshkonong. Her smile, fun-loving personality, and good-natured pranks and jokes will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Merlin “Butch;” her Yorkshire terrier, Lily, also affectionately known as “Princess;” two children, Angela (Joshua) Campbell and Brian (Sara) Templeton both of Janesville; grandchildren, who she cherished and adored: Alexandra and Colin Campbell, and Owen and Lola Templeton; and her siblings and their spouses: Douglas (Gene) Martin of Footville, Dale (Nancy) Martin of Midlothian, TX, Dwayne (Janice) Martin of Albany, Diane McCool of Tempe, AZ, Debra Jones of Albany, Darcy (Alan) Stephenson of Albany, and Dawn (Don) Lewis of Antigo, WI. She is further survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law: Isabelle Foslin of Belleville, WI, Carol and Don Zimmerman of Janesville, Linda and Dan Weber of Albany and Mike Wiedenhoeft of Evansville. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law, Robert and Myrtle Templeton; sister-in-law, Mary Wiedenhoeft; and brother-in-law, Sandy Foslin. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Whitcomb – Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Susan Lockman officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be on Monday at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Albany.
