Evansville/Madison, WI -- Arlene M. Rasmussen, 92, passed away on February 13, 2018, from complications of dementia. She was born March 30, 1925, to William and Anna (Schmid) Legler. After graduation from Brooklyn High School, Arlene attended vocational college and worked in Madison. She married Glenn Rasmussen in 1943. Both Glenn and Arlene were raised on farms, and continued to farm together for many years in the Brooklyn and Evansville area. Arlene enjoyed gardening, baking, volunteering as a 4-H leader, snowmobiling, dancing, playing the piano, selling apples at the farmer's market, playing cards and spending time with her large extended family.
