Marjorie J. Stoltz, 89, of South Beloit, IL, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, in the UW Hospital, Madison, WI. She was born Feb. 22, 1924, in Beloit, WI, the daughter of John and Ethel (Raymer) Large. Marjorie was a graduate of Beloit High School. She married Richard Stoltz on May 11, 1947, in Rockford, IL. He predeceased her on Oct. 3, 1992. Marjorie was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, South Beloit, IL, the Matrons of South Beloit, and the Beloit Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed square dancing and sewing.
Survivors include her son, Richard (Debra) Stoltz of Beloit, WI; grandchildren: Scott Stoltz, Jennifer (Fiancée, Brandon Schultz) Stoltz, and Nathan (fiancé, Samantha Eggers) Stoltz; great grandchildren, Colin and Emily; cousin and best friend, Ruth Holman of Mesa, AZ; and niece, Sherrie O’Brien. She was predeceased by her parents and step father, George Rockwell.
A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at the DALEY MURPHY WISCH & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Lu Bettisch officiating. Inurnment will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, South Beloit, IL.
