Shirley Mae Streeter, 69, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. She was born Sept. 9, 1943, in Footville, WI, the daughter of Albert and Mildred (Wakefield) Prien. Shirley worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Cedar Crest. She enjoyed outdoor activities, family cookouts, and spending time with the grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her children: Bradley (Dawn) Bobzien, Brenda (Richard) Coleman, Richard (Deanna) Harris, Steven Harris, Chris Downing, Shawn (Dawn) Banker and Tonya (Brad) Streeter; grandchildren: Eric, Todd, Amber, Chad, Bret (John Freed), Nick, Mitchel, Marshal, Hailey, Heidi, Derek, Steve Jr., Joey, Alexis, Trevor, Ali, Kyle, Lacie Mae, Ashton, Tyler, Colton, Nady, Mykia and Paisely; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Marlene (Kenneth) Pageloff of Janesville; two very special friends of the family, Jessica Riddle and Dave LeConte; and her pet dogs, Maxx and Snickers. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Edwin; sister, Beverly Bobzien; and brother, Gordon Prien.
Funeral services will be held at NEWCOMER-SILVERTHORN CHAPEL ON THE HILL, Hwy 11 and South Coon Island Road, Orfordville at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2013, with Pastor Jerry Amstutz officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the FUNERAL HOME on Monday.
