Richard L. Skillman, age 75, of Janesville, died on Thursday, March 14, 2013, surrounded by his family at home. He was born in Wilmington, DE, on Oct. 7, 1937, the son of Leroy and Margaret (Williams) Skillman. Richard served in the U.S. Army and had been stationed in Germany. He married Linda Burdick in Janesville on Jan. 10, 1978. He was the owner of Action Temp, and enjoyed classic car restoration. Richard very much enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his wife, Linda Skillman; four children: Ramona Castellani of Wilmington, DE, Domenica (Steven) Watts of New Castle, DE, Michele (James) Rosga of Janesville and Lance Skillman of Janesville; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Carmen R. Skillman on June 23, 2001; and his daughter, Catherine Paoli
on Feb. 23, 2013.
