Marilyn A. M. Alfredson, age 85, of Walworth, WI, formerly of Williams Bay, WI, passed away Thursday March 14, 2013, at Golden Years Health Care Center in Walworth. She was born Feb. 24, 1928, in Williams Bay, the daughter of Helmer and Alpha (Larson) Johnson. Marilyn was secretary for the Baptist General Conference for many years.
Marilyn is survived by her four children: Kathleen (Donald) Leith of Tennessee, Alan (Patricia) Alfredson of Lincoln Wood, IL, Diane Wright of Delavan, WI and Brian Alfredson; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Glenn (Irene) Johnson of Arizona, and one sister, Vivian Ruby of Kenosha, WI.
Funeral services for Marilyn will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at CALVARY COMMUNITY CHURCH in Williams Bay with Pastor Melvin Olberg officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan, WI. Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. until time of the service Monday at the CHURCH. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family suggests memorials to Calvary Community Church.
