Doris L. Henning, age 92, of Delavan, WI, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI. She was born Dec. 31, 1920, in Elkhorn, the daughter of Charles and Cornelia (Halversen) Larsen. Doris was united in marriage to Roland Henning on Nov. 7, 1942, in Lawton, OK, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 1998.
Doris is survived by his daughters: Ronna (Steve) Rawlins of Waunkee, WI, Pamela (Elias) Casias of Taos, NM, Shelly (Glenn) McCracken-Tio of Woodstock, IL, Madelyn (Jim) Foyt of Lancaster, WI, Jane (Duane Blackburn) Henning of Lake Geneva, WI; her son, Roland (Heather) Henning of Maple Grove, MN; 16 grandchildren: Brian, Leda, Myah, Nathan, Taleah, Kate, Erin, Lacy, Ashley, Travis, Ross, Will, Josh, Preston, Marissa and Caden; three great-grandchildren: Maelee, Mathias, and Natalia; two great-grandchildren on the way; her sisters; Ellen (Arthur) Redenius and Peggy DuCharme; her brothers, Harry (Joyce) Larsen and Carl (Jan) Larsen; nieces; and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roland; brothers, Oscar and Lewis; her sisters, Margaret Maverhofer and Grace Olson; and her brother-in-law, Harry DuCharme.
Memorial Services will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the United Methodist Church in Delavan, WI with Rev. Edward Johnson officiating.
