Audrey I. Long-Broge, Orfordville, WI  (1932 - 2013)

Audrey I. Long-Broge, age 80, died on Monday, March 4, 2013, at Collinwood Elderly Care in Orfordville, WI. She was born on Aug. 19, 1932, in Elkhorn, the daughter of Wilmer and Irene Minett. Audrey lived in Orfordville since 1971, she was predeceased by her first husband, Rollin Long, and then by her second husband, Alvin Broge. Audrey tenderly cared for her children and grandchildren throughout her life. Anyone who knew her, agreed that she was passionate about being with her family more than any other past-time. She enjoyed keeping a tidy home, loved dancing in her earlier years, was a hard-worker, avid gardener, and a great cook. Although usually quiet, she had a wonderful way of making others smile.
Audrey is survived by her children: Cheryl (Tom) Duncan of Rockford, IL, Al Long, of Orfordville, Karen Long of Apple Valley, MN, and Rollie (Cindy) Long of Janesville; grandchildren: Allison and Austin Long, and Sara and Lydia Duncan. She is also survived by her brother, Wallace. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Rollin and Alvin; and an aunt, Izeyl Engerbretson.
