Carrie K. Nickel, Janesville, WI  (1962 - 2013)

Carrie K. Nickel, age 50, of Janesville, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, in the afternoon, at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center. She was born on June 22, 1962, in Janesville, the daughter of Fred and Judy (Miller) Henke. She attended schools in Janesville, and later worked as a Production Worker for Freedom Plastics. She loved to cook, loved flowers and plants, and especially enjoyed listening to music. She had an affinity for sweets, especially chocolate! Carrie loved spending time with her family, and loved being with her dog, Clyde. Carrie will be remembered by all as a very caring and loving person!
Carrie is survived by her two sons, Garrett Nickel and Seth (fiancé, Rachel Sanwick) Nickel, her dad, Fred Henke, all of Janesville; two sisters, Connie Atkinson of Beloit, WI, and Candace Jones of Jacksonville, NC; and by nieces; nephews; and friends. She was preceded in death by her mom, Judy; and her sister, Corinne Rick.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013, at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, with Rev. Jerry Amstutz officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 12 until 1 p.m. at the FUNERAL HOME.
