Sarah A. Norris, Janesville  (1943 - 2013)

Sarah A. Norris, 69, of Janesville, WI, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, in the Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 26, 1943, in Whitehall, WI, the daughter of Thomas and Eva (Thompson) Nelson. Sarah was a graduate of Beloit Memorial High School and Beloit College. She married Robert Clossey on Oct. 13, 1960, in Beloit, WI. Sarah was an engineer employed by Hamilton Sundstrand, retiring in 2005. She had a hunting and fishing lodge in Alaska, flying sportsmen into their place for ten years. Sarah was a Christian woman, who had a great love for her family, was an avid sportsman, and was a great cook.
Survivors include her five children: Carol Ann (Tony) Mulburg of Farmington, MN, Penny (Jon) Kolpitcke of Plattsmouth, NE, Robert Clossey of Janesville, WI, Patricia Clossey of Viroqua, WI, and Ricky Clossey of Janesville, WI; five grandchildren: Leah, David, Mike, Matt, and Mark; five great-grandchildren: Jacob, Jaylyn, Sawyer, Alexander, and Sophia Rose; sister, Debra (Pete) Roesner of Fort Wayne, IN; niece and nephews: Kristin and Tommy McMillian, and Peter Roesner.
She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Louise.
There will be no services. DALEY MURPHY WISCH & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
