JoAnn K. Stephenson, age 72, of Janesville, died on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at home. She was born in Janesville, on Sept. 18, 1940, the daughter of Ralph and Margaret (McCann) Dunlavy. She graduated from Janesville High School in 1959, and married Donald Stephenson in Dubuque, IA, on Dec. 24, 1960. JoAnn had been employed by Parker Pen and CVS Pharmacy.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, Donald Stephenson; three children: Sheila (Terry) Richards of West Salem, Sharon (Gordie Gerke) Gilbertson of West Salem, and Scott (Julie) Stephenson of Janesville; six grandchildren: Stacy, Stephanie, Sara, Seth, Amy and Josh; one brother, Richard (Lynne) Dunlavy; many other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Andrew.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013, at ST. WILLIAM CATHOLIC CHURCH with Rev. John Auby officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. at ST. WILLIAM CATHOLIC CHURCH.
