Larry L. Frisinger, Janesville  (1931 - 2013)

Larry L. Frisinger, age 81, of Janesville, died Friday, March 1, 2013, at Life Care Hospital, Pewaukee. He was born in Ladysmith, on July 26, 1931, the son of Vernon and Beryl (Slater) Frisinger. Larry served in the US Air Force as an MP during the Korean War. He married Elaine E. Blain on Sept. 27, 1957, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, IA. Larry was employed by Blain Supply/ Blain’s Farm & Fleet for over 40 years, retiring as Chairman of the Board on June 30, 1998. He was a member of Cargill United Methodist Church and a former member of the Elks Club. His hobbies were fishing, automobiles and numerous “do it yourself” projects around the house.
Larry is survived by his wife, Elaine; two children, Kevin (Sheila) Frisinger of Delafield, and Ann (Jim Corcoran) Frisinger of Middleton; three grandchildren: Andrew, Matthew and Madeline; a brother, Wallace (Rosemary) Frisinger of Bruce; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gerald “Jake” Frisinger.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at CARGILL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Janesville, with Rev. Forrest Wells officiating. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY, 1800 E. Racine St., Janesville.
