Donald K. "Don" Alm, Janesville  (1933 - 2013)

Donald K. "Don" Alm, 79, of Janesville, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on Oct. 7, 1933, in Argyle, WI, son of the late George and Helen (Tolluckson) Alm. He was united in marriage on Oct. 7, 1961, to Delores Geiter, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Edgerton. Don had worked for JATCO, for 35 years until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and landscaping. His special love was spending time with his family. He served in the United States Army.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Delores of Janesville; three daughters: Diane (Ray) Vierck of Edgerton, Karen (Steve) Nettesheim of Evansville, and Becky (Rick) Tomten of Milton; one son, Steven (Traci) Alm of Milton; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Mary (Jim) Bjerke of Crystal Lake, IL; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by three sisters: Patricia, Phyllis and Nancy; and twin brother, David.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, Edgerton, with Father David Timmerman officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery at a later date. A celebration of Don's life will be held at the CHURCH on Wednesday, March 6, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
