Thomas J. Schulz, Beloit, WI  (1954 - 2013)

Thomas J. Schulz, age 58, of Beloit, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Mercy Hospital. He was born Oct. 14, 1954, to the late Betty Chrislaw in Belvidere, IL. Tom attended Clinton High School, class of 1972. He married the former Kathy Lock on Aug. 14, 1976, in Clinton. Tom worked at GM and was a member of U.A.W Local 95 for 30 years, retiring in 2006. He was a member of Bear Bluff ATV Club and the WI ATV Association. Tom loved being in his garage, cooking, 4-wheeling, deer hunting, going up north and having camp fires. He also enjoyed playing cards and anything to do with John Deere. He was an avid Packer and Nascar fan. Tom enjoyed taking day trips to visit relatives and friends and sharing lunch with family and friends.
Tom is survived by his wife, Kathy Schulz of Beloit; his four children: Jeff (Maricel) Gritzmacher; Tammi (Justin Weidenfeller) Eddy; Keith (BobbyJo Hungerford) Quigley and TJ (Kristin) Schulz; ten grandchildren: Zackery, Kayla, Hannah, Tanner, Kannon, Dani, Taylor, Mason, Miranda and Emma. He is also survived by his siblings: Kay (Phil) Nelson and their son, Craig Nelson, Dan (Cheryl) Chrislaw and family, Joe Chrislaw and his son, Joey, Steve (Elaine) Chrislaw and family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Chrislaw.
The family would like to thank Dr. Sitorius, Mitsy and the staff at Mercy Hospital and Mercy Hospice for the care they gave Tom.
Tom’s Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit, with Rev. Daniel L. Grimes officiating. Friends will be received on Saturday at the FUNERAL HOME from 9 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial is being established in his name.
