Milfred "Olie" M. Millar, Janesville  (1922 - 2013)

Milfred “Olie” M. Millar, age 90, of Janesville, died on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Rock Haven Nursing Home. He was born in Wisconsin, on Nov. 11, 1922, the son of Walter and Bessie May (Enghardt) Millar. Olie married Lucille Borchert in Janesville, and she preceded him in death in 1984. He had been a Dairy Farmer in Sharon Township, and moved to Janesville, 30 years ago after his retirement.
Olie is survived by his sister, Cindy McVicar of Janesville; nieces and nephews: Gary (Lynn) McVicar of Janesville, Kim McVicar of Janesville, Jackie (John) Rockenfield of Janesville, Bob (Judy) Thomas of North Carolina, Sue Niles of North Carolina, Bill (Yoneko) Thomas of Milwaukee, Donald (Julie) Thomas of California, Jim (Dolly) Thomas of Delavan, Larry Thomas of Illinois, and John (Jackie) Thomas of Milton; other extended family and friends. Olie was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lucille; siblings, John Millar and Ruth Thomas; and nephew, Mike Thomas.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Rev. Jerry Amstutz officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Sharon, WI. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9 until 10 a.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME.
