Evelyn E. Isherwood, Delavan, WI  (1924 - 2013)

Evelyn E. Isherwood, age 88, of Delavan, WI, found eternal peace on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Willowfield Nursing Home in Delavan. She was born Dec. 15, 1924, in the Stevens Point area, the daughter of Joseph and Emma (Langer) Flaig. She became the beloved wife of John Isherwood on Oct. 19, 1945, in Stevens Point, WI. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Delavan. Evelyn was employed at Oaks manufacturing in Elkhorn, WI, for 32 years before retiring.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, John of Delavan; her two daughters, Joyce Smith of Delavan and Cheryl (Ray) Alberth of Delavan; her son, Kim Isherwood of Whitewater, WI; eight grandchildren: Kim Isherwood Jr., Diana ( Mike) Lies, Paula (Scott) Koepke, Ray (Michelle) Alberth, Tammy (Mike) Neiger, Pammy Norris, Rebecca Medley and Heather Conaway; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Walter (Lillian) Flaig and Ray Flaig and one sister, Helen Niemczyk. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ralph and Joseph Jr.; three sisters: Emma Grover, Christine Snow and Catherine Czlapinski; her daughter, Sandra Lee Bowey; one great-grandson; and two great-great granddaughters.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at the MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, WI, with Fr. Gary Nowicki officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time on Saturday at the FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be at St. Andrew’s Cemetery. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, WI, is assisting the family.
