John V. Trotta, Lake Geneva, WI  (1929 - 2013)

John V. Trotta, 83, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Mercy Hospital, Janesville. John was born Sept. 8, 1929, in Kenosha, WI, the son of Frank and Sophie (Agoseinevch) Trotta. He was united in marriage to Bernadean Fish on June 20, 1953, and she preceded him in death July 9, 2009. John was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus 3rd degree. After retirement, John enjoyed walking around the City of Lake Geneva, on a daily basis. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was the Head Maintenance Man for Central Denison School.
Surviving are John's daughters: Michelle (Bruce) Nelson of Lake Geneva, Colette (Hayes Smith) Trotta of Kenosha, WI, and Peggy (Rob) Fraser of Lake Geneva; three grandchildren: Angela and Sabrina Nelson and Hannibal Hayes Christopher Smith; one great-grandchild, Zora Smith; and one sister, Isabelle Olson of Kenosha. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marion Tufts; and two brothers, Frank and Raymond Trotta.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at ST. FRANCIS DE SALES CATHOLIC CHURCH with Rev. James Schueman officiating.
