Darlene Mae Boness, 84, formerly of McDowell Street, Delavan, died at Kindred Care Nursing Home in Burlington, on Sunday, Jan 5, 2013. Darlene was born March 31, 1928, in Sharon, WI, the daughter of William Boness and Lulu Braun. Darlene worked at the Delavan Hardware until it closed. She, then, went to Sta-Rite Industries and worked until her retirement. Darlene was a friend of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Darlene is survived by two brothers, Mel (Millie) Boness of Delavan, and Don Boness of Phoenix, AZ; nephews: Randy, Jeff and Bill; and nieces: Linda, Cathy and Betsy.
Memorial services are at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at OUR REDEEMER LUTHERAN CHURCH with the Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery. A funeral luncheon and gathering with the family will follow in Fellowship hall of Our Redeemer. BETZER FUNERAL HOME is serving the Boness Family
