Barbara June Miller, age 89, of Janesville, died on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at St. Mary’s Care Center, Madison, WI. She was born in Ontario, WI, on Oct. 9, 1923, the daughter of Earl and Julia (Burch) Whitinger. She married Charles Hladky in 1942, he preceded her in death in 1958. She married Warren Miller in 1962, he preceded her in death in 1999. Barbara retired from Woolworths.
Barbara is survived by her three children: Donald (Cecilia) Hladky of Janesville, Judy (Terry) Sheridan of Janesville and Michael (Karen) Miller of Madison; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many other extended family and friends, especially the Murphy family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Robert Whitinger.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Rev. Tim Erickson officiating. Interment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 until 11:00 a.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME.
