Sharon Marion Dixon, age 64, of Whitewater, WI, passed away on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at her home. Sharon was born in Elmhurst, IL, on Oct. 19, 1948, the daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth Roth. She graduated from York High School in Elmhurst, IL. On June 21, 1980, Sharon married Bryan Dixon in Elmhurst. Sharon worked as a media specialist for the Watertown Unified School District. She loved to garden.
Surviving are her husband, Bryan Dixon of Whitewater, WI; stepdaughter, Melinda (Bryce) Schadler of St. Joseph, MI; step-grandchildren: Blaine, Aleena and Makayla; two sisters, Virginia Berney of Texas, and Noreen Nelson of Village Park, IL; one brother, Raymond (Nancy) Roth of Arkansas; her mother-in-law, Mary Sue Dixon of St. Joseph, MI; and one brother-in-law, Geoffrey Dixon of St. Joseph. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 until 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at the NITARDY FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 550 N. Newcomb St, Whitewater, WI.
