Kristy “Fud” J. Sather, 61, of West Street, Elkhorn, WI, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center. She was born Aug. 6, 1951, in Elkhorn, WI, the daughter of the late Severt R. and Edna (Lasch) Sather. Fud graduated from Elkhorn Area High School with the Class of 1969. She worked over the years for various companies, but she was best known as the bartender at Ward’s, Fuzzy’s, King’s and Kelly’s bar in Elkhorn.
Kristy is survived by her siblings: Ann (Rich) Davis of Beaver Dams, NY, Richard (Mary) Sather of Moriarty, NM, Kay (Jerry) Kissinger of Stoughton, WI, and John (Ellen) Sather of Elkhorn, WI. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Sather.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013, at HAZEL RIDGE CEMETERY, Elkhorn, WI. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at HAASE-LOCKWOOD & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, WI.
