Dorothy M. Campbell, Janesville, WI  (1953 - 2013)

Dorothy M. Campbell, age 59, of Janesville, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013. She was born on Nov. 11, 1953, in Delavan, WI, the daughter of the late Lyle and Irene (Bromley) Morgan. Dorothy graduated from Delavan Darien High School and later married Gary R. Campbell. They were married on Nov. 20, 1971, in Walworth County, WI, and at that time, moved to Janesville. He predeceased her on Dec. 16, 2009. Dorothy worked for the Janesville School District for over 23 years as a teacher's aide at Wilson School. She enjoyed being around young children and loved her job. Dorothy was a very giving and loving person, who was a proud mother of three children and two grandchildren, whom she adored. Dorothy was a member of the Janesville Eagles Lodge #2140 and the Beloit Moose Lodge #191 Ladies Auxiliary.
Dorothy is survived by her children: Josh (Angie) Campbell and their two children, Alexandra and Colin, all of Janesville, Jenny (Alex) Solera of Seffner, FL, and Joleen (Frances Jesuit) of Janesville; a sister, Carole Colombe of Delavan, WI; brothers: Richard Morgan of Janesville, Bill (June) Morgan of Viroqua, WI, and Ron Morgan of Evansville, WI. She is further survived by brothers and sisters-in-law: Shirley and Richard Hazeltine, Patricia Hazeltine, Barb Campbell, Dean and Deanna Campbell, Carol and Larry Hansberry, Larry and Cindy Campbell, Lloyd Campbell, Dixie Pixley and Gilmore Campbell; many other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Jim Morgan and Beverly Morgan.
A celebration honoring Dorothy's life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013, beginning at 1 p.m. at the EAGLES CLUB, located at 414 W. Milwaukee St., Janesville.
