Robert "Bob" Dale Blue, Edgerton, WI  (1929 - 2013)

Robert "Bob" Dale Blue, 83, of Edgerton, passed away peacefully on Feb. 18, 2013, at The Heartwarming House in Milton, WI. He was born on Oct. 13, 1929, in Harrisburg, IL. Bob was the son of Ruby Gwen Adamson and Charles Arthur Blue. Bob married Alice Outhouse on July 21, 1972. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. Bob was a Sergeant in the Air Force from 1948 to 1952, stationed in Japan, where he was a mechanic, Bob also boxed and played baseball on the Air Force teams. He also worked as a dairy farmer in Evansville, field mechanic/supervisor for Libby's in Darien, and a factory mechanic for Seneca Foods in Janesville.
Bob leaves six children: Lynette (Duane) Alcock of Monroe Center, IL, Sue Ellen (John) Schandeimeier of Roscoe, IL, Terry (Vicki) Blue of Clinton, WI, Gary (Sally) Blue of Milton, WI, Wesley (Lisa) Blue of Clinton, WI, and Orissa (Scott) Wooden of Janesville, WI. He also leaves 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Bob is survived by a half-brother, Charles (Corky) Blue and his family; and uncle, Don (Arlene) Adamson of Monroe Center, IL; four step-children: Lynne Bliss (Frank Gonzalez) of Falcon, CO, Sue (Allen) Herring of Milton, WI, Steve (Pam) Outhouse, Sally (Gary) Blue of Milton, WI; six step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his, wife, Alice in 2010; and his parents.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, MILTON, with Pastor Jason Chesnut officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare Inc.
The family extends a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses from the Edgerton Hospital, Edgerton Care Center, St. Mary's Hospital, and The Heartwarming House for the care they gave Bob.
