Vernon LeRoy Kilroy, Delavan, WI  (1934 - 2013)

Vernon L. Kilroy, age 78, of Delavan, WI, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at St. Lukes Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. He was born May 24, 1934, in Rock Falls, IL, the son of Joseph and Ina (Harrington) Kilroy. Vernon was united in marriage to Jacqueline Weber in Elkhorn, WI, on April 3, 1980. He was employed as a Leadman at Woodstock Dye Cast in Woodstock IL, then at Farm City Elevator in Darien, WI, before retiring. Vernon was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran, serving with the 82 Air Borne.
Vernon is survived by his wife, Jacqueline of Delavan, WI; his daughters, Shelly (Brian) Guzman of Delavan, and Jackie Conners of Gay Mills, WI; his son, Terry (Della) Kilroy of WI; six grandchildren; his sister, Margarite Jung; and his two brothers, Marlyn (Shirley) Kilroy and Henry (Donna) Kilroy. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at the MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, WI, with Rev. Mike Ida officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva, WI.
