Rosemary A. Purdy, age 41, of Brodhead, passed away at her home on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 28, 1971, in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Luttig) Riley. She married Brian L. Purdy on June 21, 1997, in Janesville, WI.
Rosemary graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1989, and also attended Blackhawk Technical College. She had worked at Freeman Alignment of Janesville, and Data Dimensions, also of Janesville. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, and home schooling her son.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, Brian; a son, Cordell Lee; mother, Mary (Ray) Tracey of South Beloit, IL; father, Bob (Shirley) Riley of Beloit, WI; two brothers, Jim (Anna) Riley of Milton, WI, Nicholas (Andrea) Riley of Madison, WI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at the LIVING WORD CHURCH, Brodhead, with Rev. Rob Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead.
