SOUTH WAYNE, IN—Matthew C. Kraft, age 23, of South Wayne, died on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, in Magnolia Twp., in Rock County, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born on April 7, 1989, in Monroe, the son of Randy and Sherri (Paul) Kraft. Matthew was a 2007 graduate of Blackhawk High School. He was recently employed at Family Fresh Pack in Monticello. Matthew enjoyed basketball, bowling, softball, fishing, hunting and playing video games.
Matthew is survived by his mother, Sherri (Jay) McCallum of South Wayne; father, Randy (Susan) Kraft of Brodhead, WI; maternal grandparents, Nathan (Patricia) Paul of Choctaw, OK; paternal grandparents, Alvin (Patricia) Kraft of Red Oak, IL; sisters: Cheyenne Kraft of Monroe, Casey Lloyd and Samantha (Phil) Kessler, both of Janesville; a special friend, Frankie Swenson; aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives, and many other friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents; aunt, Tina Paul, and cousin, Timothy Harnish.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME, 1455 Mansion Dr. and 18th Ave. in Monroe, WI, with Rev. Don Jamerson officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Freeport, IL. Visitation will be Monday,
