Judith R. Ebert, Elkhorn, WI  (1964 - 2013)

Judith R. Ebert, 48, of W. Second Ave. Elkhorn, WI, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice Wauwatosa, WI, after a 20 month battle with cancer. She was born April 9, 1964, in Milwaukee, WI. She was the daughter of Arthur L. and Joan (Rydin) Ebert. She graduated from Nicolet High School with the Class of 1982. She graduated from UW-Madison in 1986, and attended graduate school at National Louis University in Chicago, IL. For over 13 years, she was employed with COA Youth and Family Center of Milwaukee, WI. Judith excelled in track and tennis during her high school days. Afterward, she coached tennis and enjoyed snow skiing, watching and attending Milwaukee Brewers games. She enjoyed working the ticket booth at the Walworth County Fair for over 12 years.
Judith is survived by her special friend and caregiver, William Sekeres of Elkhorn; her mother, Joan Ebert of Meqon, WI; two sisters, Karen (John) Yancy of Barrington, IL, and Linda (Tim) Halfmann of Northbrook, IL; cousins, including Julie, Tom, and Cindy, all of Milwaukee, WI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Ebert; and her former husband, John Suritis.
