Dale R. Austin, age 52, of North Freedom, WI, formerly of Fontana, WI, passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at his home in North Freedom. He was born in Elkhorn, WI, on Feb. 24, 1960, the son of William, Sr. and Mary (Goff) Austin. Dale was united in marriage to Rose Davenport in 1981, in Fontana. Dale started his working career at Charlie O’s restaurant in Williams Bay, WI, then as a Police Officer in Lake Geneva, WI. In later years, along with his brother, Rich, he owned and operated “The Boys” lawn care and snow removal. He was the past Fire Chief in Fontana.
Dale is survived by his wife, Rose of North Freedom; his daughter, Rosannah (Jacob) Todd of North Freedom; one brother, William, Jr. “Rich” (Linda) Austin of Fontana; two nieces, Mandi Austin and Sharon Carr; and one nephew, Doug Carr. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at the COMMUNITY CHURCH OF ELKHORN with Rev Robert Peiffer officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at the CHURCH on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva, WI.
