Beradine F. Salzman, Walworth, WI  (1936 - 2013)

Bernadine F. Salzman, age 76, of Walworth, WI, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Golden Years Health Care Center in Walworth. She was born Aug. 5, 1936, in Illinois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Samules. She married Marvin P. Salzman April 10, 1955, in Wausau, WI. He preceded her in death Oct. 16, 2005. Bernadine did child care in her home for many years, was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Fontana, WI, St. Catherine Alter Society, Sharon Snowmobile Club and the VFW Auxiliary.
Bernadine is survived by her children: Marvin (Pat) Salzman of McHenry, IL, Sue (Len) Schlieger of New Richland, MN, Joe Salzman of Black River Falls, WI, Roxanne (Tom) Kauer of Walworth, Ben Salzman of Wausau, WI, James (Vicki) Salzman of Genoa City, WI, and Randy (Nikki) Salzman of Caledonia, IL; a step son, David (Laural) Leder of Scandinavia, WI; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a twin sister, Beatrice (Peter) Templeton of Marengo, IL. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Damien Cloney; a sister, Faye McCarthy; and a brother, Benjamin Samules.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at TOYNTON'S WALWORTH FUNERAL HOME in Walworth. Burial will follow at Brick Church Cemetery in Walworth Township. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family would like memorials to Lakeland School in Elkhorn, WI.
