Helen Annette (Johnson, Sarver) Norris, 63, passed away Friday morning, Feb. 8, 2013, at Alden Meadow Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Clinton, WI. Helen was born in Stoughton, WI, on Nov. 2, 1949, the seventh of ten children to the late Ellis and Lillian (Selvog) Johnson. Helen devoted most of her life to raising her children as a stay at home mother and loving grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, scrap booking, genealogy, and spending time with her family.
Helen is survived by her three daughters: Tryna (Jared) Zammuto of Caledonia, IL; Christianna (Scott) Parker of Midlothian, VA; Theresa (George) Vellella of Janesville, WI; four grandsons: Jeffrey Zammuto, SN, Daniel Parker, Brandon Grant, and George "Jim" Vellella; five granddaughters: Meghan Parker, Erin Parker, Lillian Grant, Allison Parker, and Elaine "Lainey" Vellella. She is also survived by three sisters, three brothers. many nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her husbands, William Sarver and Barry Norris; her son, William Sarver; her grandson, Michael Sarver; her parents, Ellis and Lillian Johnson; and three brothers, James “Jim”, Larry, and Richard Maynard.
Helen’s family would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to everyone at Alden Meadow Park and Saint Jude Hospice. The compassion and caring you showed not just Helen, but also the rest of us, will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life luncheon with family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, 2/16 at 2344 East Pleasant Road, Milton, WI 53563.
