Charles "Buzz" M. Wright, Delavan, WI  (1919 - 2013)

Charles "Buzz" M. L. Wright, age 93, of Delavan, WI, passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI. He was born June 2, 1919, in Chicago, IL, the son of John and Elsie (Laurell) Wright. He married Carol Muecke June 10, 1972, in Williams Bay, WI. Charles was a World War II Air Force veteran. He worked in maintenance for George Williams College Camp and Hilton Hotel in Lake Geneva. Charles enjoyed model railroading and was a gun buff. He lived in Florida, with his wife for 19 years and came back to Wisconsin, to be with family. He also enjoyed camping and traveling. He was master of ceremonies for Williams Bay Civic League Shows at the Rivera for many years and was also in the shows.
Charles is survived by his wife, Carol; two sons, James (Amy) Wright of Leonardtown, MD, and Tom Wright of Williams Bay; seven step children: Sharon (David) Halverson, Stephanie Kitral, Crystal (Joe) Genens, all of Lake Geneva, Susan (Wayne) Rhode of Walworth, WI, Debra Square of Lake Geneva, Jeffrey (Tara) Rabenhorst of Williams Bay, Matthew (Lori) Rabenhorst of St. Petersburg, FL; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at WILLIAMS BAY LUTHERAN CHURCH with Rev. Jeanette Strandjord officiating. Memorials may be made to Williams Bay Lutheran Church or Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 130 Lone Oaks Dr., Leesburg, FL 34748-5401.
