Joyce A. Gleiter, Delavan, WI  (1944 - 2012)

Joyce A. Gleiter, age 68, of Delavan, WI, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Janesville, WI. She was born Feb. 1, 1944, in Elkhorn, WI, the daughter of Theodore and Hazel (Channing) Miles. Joyce was united in marriage to Gerald Gleiter on April 20, 1968. She was employed at UW-Whitewater as the Custodian Lead for many years.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Jerry "Butch" Gleiter of Delavan; her daughter, Brenda (Jason) Wencka of Wauwatosa; her sons, Robert (Patricia) Gleiter of Jefferson, and Russ (Kym) Gleiter of Elkhorn; four grandchildren: Mitchell, Melissa, Abby and Eli; one sister, Jeanne Loback of Delavan; four brothers: James (Carolyn) Miles of Elkhorn, Joe (Susie) Miles of Warrens, Robert (Kay) Miles of Whitewater, and Frank (Ginny) of FL. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Jerry.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at the MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, WI. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time at Noon on Friday at the FUNERAL HOME.
