Avery J. McCarthy, age 11, of Delavan, WI, went home to be with our Lord, Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012. She was born on Oct. 5, 2001, in Elkhorn, WI, the daughter of Bridget McCarthy and Scott Reese. Avery was a very enthusiast 5th grader at The Delavan Christian Grade School in Delavan.
Avery is survived by her mother, Briget (Fiancé, Matt Vavra) McCarthy of Delavan; her father, Scott (Fiancé, Tammy Collins) Reese of Delavan; her siblings: Jadrian Ochoa, Brody McCarthy-Vavra, Kaylee and Joey; aunts and uncles: Shannon (Jeff) Werfelmann, Shawn McCarthy, Patrick (Fiancé, Melissa Gann) McCarthy, Mike (Kim) Reese and Tracy (Danny) Huguley; grandparents: Bill and Lois McCarthy and Michael and Arlene Reese; and great-grandmother, Johanna Sterken. Avery is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Henry Sterken and Victor (Lorraine) Patch.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday Oct. 29, 2012, at the DELAVAN CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH in Delavan, WI, with Rev. Dan Roeda officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Delavan Christian Grade School Gymnasium located at 848 Oak St. in Delavan. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan.
