Irving Dean "Bud" Weiss, Delavan, WI (1927 - 2012)

Irving Dean "Bud" Weiss, 85, of N6443 Anderson Drive, Turtle Lake, Rural Delavan, died at Willowfield Nursing Home, on Oct. 22, 2012. Bud was born July 31, 1927, in San Diego, CA, the son of Irving C. Weiss and Elanore Kahne. He married Marian Hall Sept. 9, 1950, in Brookfield, IL. Bud served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post 95. He worked for Valspar Corp. in administration for many years. He was founder of Lakewood Products Manufacturer of Diesel Train and Locomotive Parts. Bud also built five home in the Turtle Lake area. He was a longtime member of Millard Community Covenant Church. Bud could build or fix just about anything and if he didn't know how, he would find out how to do that which he set his mind too.
Bud is survived by his wife, Marian of Turtle Lake; one son, Alan (Mary Pat) Weiss of Fox Lake, IL; two sisters, Beverly Luke of Ottumwa, IA, and Colleen Nuccio of Naples, FL; two grandchildren, Lisa (Shawn) and Gina (Nick); and three great-grandchildren: Savannah, McKenna and Alannah.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at MILLARD COMMUNITY COVENANT CHURCH with the Rev. Lisle Heinitz officiating. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. Memorials to the Church are suggested. BETZER FUNERAL HOME is serving the Weiss Family.
