Gordon M. Messer, 75, of Beloit, WI, died on Oct. 15, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his family. Gordon was born on Aug. 24, 1937, in Beloit, the son of Kenneth M. and Margaret C. (Dairy) Messer. He was employed as a Barber for many years, and later worked at Bendix & Besly for several years before retiring. Gordon married his loving wife, Charlene Paulson on June 30, 1968. He loved the Lord, his family, and riding motorcycles.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Charlene Messer of Beloit; son, Tim Messer of South Beloit, IL; daughter, Tina (Ron) Bartram of Beloit; step grandson, Nick Bartram and family of Beloit; step great-granddaughter, Haily Bartram of Beloit; and sister-in-law, Judy Bennington and her son, Nate and his family, all of Beloit. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Ken Messer.

Funeral services are at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at HANSEN-GRAVITT FUNERAL HOME, 424 Prospect Street in Beloit. Visitation is one hour prior to the service.
