ELKHORN, WI—Bonnie J. Leveraus, 72, of Third Ave Elkhorn, WI, died unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at her residence. She was born Dec. 11, 1939, in Kirksville, MO, the daughter of the late Benoni and Frances (Westerhouse) Hanson. Bonnie was married to James Leveraus from 1959 until 1974. She was employed as a registered nurse for over 40 years. She enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the senior golf league.
Bonnie is survived by her three children: Kim (Bruce) Frank of East Troy, WI, Edie (Mike) Ottmann of South Milwaukee, WI, and Darin (Gina Mirek) Leveraus of Milwaukee, WI; three grandchildren: Jason Palinski, Morgan and Allison Ottman; one great-grandson, Evan Ottmann; her former husband, James of Muskego, WI, and by a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Richard “Dick” Hanson.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at HAASE-LOCKWOOD & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME, 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, WI, with Rev. Gerald Petersen officiating.
