Glen H. Pitt, Laguna Woods, CA  (1925 - 2012)

Glen H. Pitt passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at the age of 87, after a short illness. He was born on May 21, 1925, in Milton, WI. He was the son of Curtis and Mary Pitt. Glen married Virginia Strunk on Aug. 21, 1947, in Whitewater. After leaving the family farm in Wisconsin, he enjoyed 40 years working as a Carpenter, mostly in California. Glen and Virginia spent 20 years of retirement in Alabama.
Glen's surviving family members are his wife, Virginia of Laguna Woods, CA; his daughters: Donna Shafer of Dallas, TX, Cheryl Berger of Ripon, CA, and Karen Ames of San Clemente, CA; and four grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at the FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 401 W. Main Street, Whitewater, WI, with Rev. Jerald Wendt officiating. Friends may call after 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at the CHURCH until the services. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Whitewater.
